This is the one of the first paintings I've done large. This ponders the idea of cracking your personal code to freedom. Sometimes it's just adjusting a few gears around you.
I did this one in two weeks. The most memorable of all was going to the Pick n Pull and ripping the frame off of an old-school aqua teal big rig and screwing it into the canvas as the frame. The frame is ioxidized from the sea salt air.
